PathFinder
Study Patient #5
“I was diagnosed with liver disease, cirrhosis, and varices.”
After drinking for 30 years ranging from heavy to abstaining back to moderate, I landed in the hospital in 2005 with jaundice, aches and pains, difficulty eliminating etc. Upon checking my blood labs all attending raised their level of concern as my liver enzymes were through the roof and my bilirubin was over 20 (normal <1). I was diagnosed with liver disease, cirrhosis, and varices. There was not a lot they could do other then give me IV of B1 and Folic acid and wait and see if my numbers would go one way or the other. When I asked what if they go the wrong way, the answer in so many words implied death.*
Fortunately, the numbers came down, although to levels that would still frighten anyone, leaving the hospital I still had liver enzymes in the triple digits, bilirubin over 10 and was very yellow and weak. The general prognosis was stage four cirrhosis and the outlook was not good. Doctors told me the best I could do was to try and keep it from increasing, but no mention of getting it to retreat was EVER mentioned, this took a toll on me mentally. After reading online about how to get myself rated, as I was curious how long I might have, many sites referred to a Fibroscan machine. After searching I found one near by at the LiverLab. I met up with the director of LiverLab and he performed a Fibroscan…fingers crossed, prayers and …27 kPa! I was confirmed stage F4 – cirrhosis, ugghh. He then proceeded to tell me about a clinical trial I could get into to treat this which spoke of not only keeping my current numbers from advancing, but to actually reverse the condition. I reviewed the literature provided and listened to the Lab Director on what was going on inside and how this could help. I decided to give to give it a go.*
I started taking the HepAssure/PathFinder product 3X daily for 3 months and came back for a new Fibroscan test, prayers and…19.2 kPa! Wow, I was extremely excited, I think the Lab Director was too. With new hope I left the clinic and continued on my regimen. I was checked 3 months later and was at 13.6 kPa, my numbers continued to drop but at a slower pace for the next year or so and then reached below 10 and now I am at 6.6 kPa or stage 1.*
I had Ultrasounds at regular intervals this entire time, my first few came back with the comments of slightly nodular echotexture and cirrhotic. My last two ultrasounds came back normal with homogeneous and liver appears smooth with no evidence to suggest cirrhosis.*
I have also experienced some other great benefits including but not limited to increased energy, better elimination and I cannot remember having any cold or sickness in last 4+ years.*
I am extremely grateful to God for putting me together with the LiverLab and for PathFinder. I have learned a lot since this started, am now celebrating 5 years sober, and pray that anyone in need gets the opportunity and the accompanying hope that comes with using this product.*
I am available for more questions if needed.
Sincerely,
Patient # 5

PathFinder’s patented formula contains 34 nutrients known to be depleted in Liver Fibrosis and Liver Cirrhosis.*
PathFinder is a specially formulated dietary supplement designed to promote liver health and healthy metabolism. PathFinder’s patented, multi-ingredient formula is designed to protect liver metabolism by supplying important nutrients that are necessary for healthy metabolism in the liver.*
Depletion of a specific group of nutrients, which we normally get from our diet, causes a chain of disruption in liver metabolism. Depletion of these nutrients trigger and drive the progression of liver fibrosis. PathFinder contains a special formula containing those depleted nutrients (please see Science page on www.PathFinderShop.net).*
PathFinder’s patented nutritional formula is specially formulated to supply 34 dietary nutrients that are known to be depleted in progessive liver fibrosis (please see Ingredients page on www.PathFinderShop.net).*
HepAssure Inc.’s PathFinder formula has been clinically studied on people with advanced Liver Fibrosis and Liver Cirrhosis (please see Clinical Studies page on www.PathFinderShop.net).*
Between 5.5 million and 6.5 million people in the US have advanced Liver Fibrosis or Liver Cirrhosis (see below).*
According to Section 403(r)(6)(A) of the Federal Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act certain nutritional deficiencies can cause what are known as nutritional deficiency diseases.*
The latest studies show that depletion of dietary of methyl donors (one-carbon metabolism) is known to create a cascade of metabolic disruptions that trigger liver fibrosis. This scientific concensus illustrates that the generation and progression of liver fibrosis is properly considered a nutritional deficiency disease per Section 403(r)(6)(A) of the Federal Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act.*
